Branding - Shine On Therapy

Brand Identity for Shine On Therapy

A visual identity system designed to help autistic services stand out through trust, warmth, and kindness.

The goal of this brand identity project was to create a visual system that felt safe and welcoming for children while building immediate trust with parents and caregivers.

The final identity blends soft, sensory-conscious visuals with professional structure to position the practice as both expert-led and deeply human.

The Challenge

Families seeking autism therapy are often navigating uncertainty, overwhelm, and a deep need for reassurance. The previous brand lacked warmth and emotional clarity, leaning too much toward clinicality for a service rooted in trust and connection.

The challenge was to develop an identity that could:

  • create emotional safety for families

  • feel calm and non-overstimulating for children

  • communicate therapeutic expertise without sterility

  • scale across both digital and print touchpoints

  • support future program and service growth

In simple terms, fewer “medical brochure” type of things and more, you’re in good hands with us.

Strategy & Brand Direction

The strategy centered on gentle growth through guided support

The visual identity needed to hold two truths at once: it had to reassure parents with professionalism while still feeling approachable, playful, and comforting for children.

Core brand attributes included:

  • nurturing

  • calm

  • trustworthy

  • encouraging

  • playful

  • developmental

Every design decision was made to reinforce a sense of progress, safety, and individualized care.

Visual Identity System

The logo concept draws from the idea of pathways, milestones, and child-led discovery, using soft curves and connected forms to symbolize growth over time.

A sensory-friendly palette of muted blues, sage, and off-white creates a calm emotional tone without feeling overly clinical or overstimulating.

Rounded typography supports accessibility and warmth, while maintaining clean readability across both parent-facing resources and digital applications.

Together, the system creates a brand presence that feels hopeful, structured, and deeply supportive.

Applications

The identity system was extended across key family and clinic touchpoints, including:

  • website design direction

  • intake and onboarding packets

  • therapy worksheets

  • social media graphics

  • appointment reminder cards

  • waiting room signage

  • business stationery

This created a seamless experience from first inquiry through ongoing therapy support.

Outcome

The final brand identity helped position Bright Path Therapy Services as a trusted, modern pediatric therapy provider.

By combining emotional warmth with professional clarity, the new system strengthens parent confidence, improves consistency across touchpoints, and creates a more welcoming first impression for families seeking care.

The result is a brand that feels less like a clinical institution and more like a steady guide in a child’s developmental journey.
